Individual Lessons
One-to-one lessons are the perfect option for those graduating from elementary-level group programmes or older students seeking to develop their skills. They are also ideal for adult beginners. Whatever your motivation for learning, individual lessons offer a flexible programme that is tailored to your needs.
As a teacher, I strive to provide lessons with a modern edge, teaching a range of skills and repertoire, both traditional and contemporary, in a way that appeals to today's students.
Tuition covers the fundamentals of technique, reading and notation, aural awareness, theory and musicianship as well as creative skills such as improvisation and chording.
Lessons are geared to student needs and pace, and plenty of guidance is given to support and encourage home practice.
About Lessons and How to Enrol
All lessons take place at my home studio in Cannon Hill. Before enrolling, students are invited to come along for a Meet and Greet/Trial lesson - a short informal discussion and a chance to ask questions. Please note that due to limited availability for private lessons, there is a waiting list in operation for Semester 1, 2021.
